Couples Therapy Intensives
Intensive Therapy for Rebuilding Intimacy in Couples
and Healing Sexual Trauma in Women

When relational or sexual intimacy becomes strained, many couples experience persistent patterns of frustration, avoidance, or emotional disconnection. These difficulties often arise from discrepancies in sexual desire, sexual dysfunction, the psychological effects of infertility, or the residual impact of medical or relational trauma. A couples intensive offers a structured and supportive therapeutic environment to slow down, examine underlying issues, and begin the process of restoring emotional and physical connection—beyond what is typically possible in standard weekly sessions.
Clinical goals for couples intensives include:

-
Understanding and managing sexual desire discrepancies
-
Addressing sexual pain, performance anxiety, or dysfunction
-
Reducing relational pressure and feelings of rejection surrounding sex
-
Exploring the influence of infertility, hormonal changes, or trauma on intimacy
-
Reestablishing emotional safety, trust, and mutual care
We also offer individual intensives for women navigating the effects of sexual trauma. For clients feeling disconnected from their bodies, struggling with avoidance or numbness, or carrying unprocessed traumatic experiences, intensive therapy provides a trauma-informed space to safely engage in the healing process. These extended-format sessions (ranging from half-day to multi-day) are customized to align with each client’s goals and readiness. They are designed to facilitate deep therapeutic work in a private, focused, and clinically guided setting—without rushing the process. This approach supports meaningful and sustainable change. Clients are met with clinical expertise, compassion, and evidence-based care. You do not have to navigate this process alone, and healing remains entirely possible.
